Here we are in April and have gone from cold and even snow not too long ago to almost 80 degrees. I am wearing one of my pink batiste slips under a yoke hemp skirt and feel so comfortable and airy. The batiste is so light and nice, you do not have any weight or extra heat against your legs. Yet your skirts will not be see-through if they are on the thinner side. I'm completely sold on wearing slips and even in warm weather I will be wearing them under my skirts. It looks so much nicer than a skirt without a slip. The batiste is such a lightweight fabric that you are not going to be complaining about the heat. No reason to put your slip away for the warm weather when you wear batiste! I have ordered a few extra now after wearing one today, it is well worth it to have slips in my dresser drawer for everyday wear....for year-round wear. Many thanks to Amy and all her hardworking ladies who sew these for me. I very much appreciate it.
